E-rudito: An Advanced Online Education System for Smart Specialization and Jobs of the Future
The IRI E-rudito project will acquire knowledge for developing an innovative online education solution specializing in selected priority thematic areas of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Republic of Croatia.
Short description of the project:
Lamaro digital and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (University of Zagreb) saw a great potential in online education, and therefore launched a partnership on the project “E-Rudito: Advanced Online Education System for Smart Specialization and Jobs of the Future”.
Within this project, through various researches, knowledge is acquired to develop a solution for online education that deals with the selected priority thematic areas of the Smart Strategy of Specialization of the Republic of Croatia. An innovative future solution will provide many benefits to customers and clients who will fully respond to today’s desires and needs. They are increasingly focused on digitization and prototype will thus bring a lot of saving on the time and space. The project is also in line with other strategies such as the Strategy for Promotion of Innovation and the EU Strategy for Europe 2020.
Purpose of the project:
The purpose of the project is to enable applicants to appear in global markets by investing in product research and development in the field of online education applied to the priority thematic areas of the Smart Specialization Strategy of Croatia. That will encourage the development of professional staff better suited to the needs of the labor market. Such as the development of new business ideas, innovative products, and the new job positions.
Successful completion of the project will have its specific goals:
Investing in Enterprises in Research, Development, and Innovation
Development of innovative online education systems
Commercialization of the online education system in the cloud
The total value of the project amounts to 7.633.670,60 kn, while the amount of project co-financing from the EU funds is 5.194.773,53 kn.
Project implementation period: 01 April 2017 – March 31, 2021.
